- Associate Professor of Chemical Engineering Bryan Berger is studying the effects of PFAS chemicals—Per- and Polyfluoroalkyl Substances—in food and farming communities. Berger received a Trust grant in 2022, and his team’s preliminary data and published papers from this initial research has assisted in securing additional funding from the EPA.
- The Arctic Design Group received a Trust grant in 2014. Learn how students have been impacted by their research and experiences in the Arctic in this UVA Today feature.
