The Scholars Visitation Program was a university-wide, collaborative initiative, sponsored by Undergraduate Admission. It was designed to bring talented underrepresented admitted students to Grounds for one of two Days on the Lawn accepted student events. The primary focus was on low- income and minority students, particularly those with an interest in science, technology, research, or service. The students invited were selected from the prospective Echols, Rodman, and College Science Scholars or they may have contacted our office to ask about visit assistance due to financial hardship. Admissions worked closely with Student Financial Services in identifying students with financial need.
