Project Spotlight

Quantitative Arts at UVa: Electronic Identity & Embodied Technology Atelier

This initiative is meant to connect two existing, developing programs at U.Va.: the Dance Program and the Robotics, Automation, and Dance (RAD) Lab. The Dance Program and the RAD Lab share common goals, and a venture partnering the two can benefit robotics research and the arts presence on Grounds, as well as students involved in each of these programs. A course will be cross-listed in the engineering school and the college, will have no prerequisites and will be open to all years. The course will focus on providing students from various disciplines the opportunity to collaborate within a lab setting, requiring them to problem-solve creatively in their own and related fields.
