Project Spotlight

Communicating Science to Public Audiences: A Workshop Series for STEM Students

This project will provide U.Va. science and engineering students with critically needed skills for communicating about science with public, non-scientist audiences. The project will benefit students from a broad array of STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) fields, including students in the College and Graduate School of Arts & Sciences, the School of Medicine, and the School of Engineering and Applied Science. Funding will support a series of training workshops designed for and open to U.Va. graduate and undergraduate students conducting research in STEM fields.
